The discrepancy points to a female based religious system. Unusual protruding ear ornaments. The figure likely represents a male ancestor. On reverse a second "ghost figure" is apparent. A scratch built and parcel gilt scale model of a gun ship on light oak base 32.5ins Estimate ?150-200 Somewhat grubby with light dirt spots throughout the surface and perhaps a little dry in appearance a few of the small pieces of the balustrading and other fittings are missing and not varnished giving it a dull appearance throughout certainly gilt decoration appears to be later painted and there has also been some repainting around most of the port holes otherwise ok.
